Today’s real wedding brings us a combination of everything we adore about weddings – love, style and personality! We are treated to a gorgeous love story mixed with glam that sets Laura and James’ wedding apart.

Set in the charming surroundings of Vallum Farm, this wedding is giving us all the cosy feel with romantic inspiration captured in photography and videography by us! Carro!

What are we waiting for? Let’s dive in…

Laura’s wedding dress is the perfect combination of simplicity and detail. The strapless gown from Happily Ever After Bridal is the perfect choice for the style of wedding the couple have gone for and as for the bride’s glorious shoes, well they added just the right amount of glam to the overall look.

James chose a unique grey shade for his wedding attire. He dazzled in a pinstripe three-piece suit paired with rich burgundy tones, with the Best Man and Groomsmen in a similar get-up, the attire donned by the proud as-punch lads was supplied by House of Cavalli and Mr Munro. Very dapper! Laura chose an elegant pinned-back look for her bridal hair by Stephanie Gaye, the timeless look complimented her classic makeup by Emily Emmett, allowing her dress and accessories to pop!

James and Laura’s most important element was to simply share their special day with their loved ones and having friends and family present on the day was very special to both, the couple opted to capture the special moments through the lens of Polaroid cameras and videography by yours truly, Carro. A gorgeous table plan at the entrance of the reception, donned with floral décor which has become a super popular trend and it’s easy to see why! The three-tier cake was certainly a showstopper and was created at the hands of the very talented team at Vallum Farm.

The banquet-style tables were dressed in an abundance of scattered greenery and florals by Green and Gathered Floristry. The rustic theme created the most romantic ambience which had been set from the outset of the day, full of love, fun and laughter which transpired into the evening with performances from The Wayfarers and a talented DJ getting everyone up on the dancefloor to share the special day with the couple and show off their dance moves … and some dad dancing along the way! We couldn’t conclude this wedding without asking the couple for some words of advice, “try not to get too stressed as everything will fall into place”.

Laura and James, thank you for allowing Carro to be part of your magical day.
