Frequently Asked Wedding Questions by BRIDES AND GROOMS

DO YOU HAVE MY WEDDING DATE AVAILABLE?

This is usually the first thing brides and grooms ask. When you make your inquiry, we will tell you if the date is still free. Due to receiving quite a lot of inquiries via wedding fairs, referrals, Facebook, Instagram, phone, and email, we require a booking fee to secure the date. The best way to contact us is via the phone on 07775914711 as we can answer all your questions quickly and see what you do and don’t need.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS?

We were established in January 2013 as a limited company. Since then, we have shot over 500 weddings from Cornwall to Scotland. We also have covered weddings abroad.

HAVE YOU WORKED AT MY VENUE BEFORE?

We have covered many venues however there are a lot of venues now so just ask and we will let you know. Don’t worry though we have worked all over the world and how we photograph a wedding doesn’t change. The only thing that changes is the backdrop.

HOW LONG ARE YOU THERE FOR? WHAT TIME WILL YOU ARRIVE?

We usually recommend for the bride two and half hours before the wedding ceremony.

Most grooms choose to have their shots when they arrive at the ceremony location before the ceremony. We ask for the groomsmen to leave their jackets and ties off for the getting-ready shots.

We usually finish before the night food at 8.30 pm. Most couples have their first dance from 7.30 to 7.45. What works well is at ten past eight before we leave is if the DJ asks

Can all the bride’s friends to come on the dance floor,

Can all the groom’s friends to come on the dance floor,

Can all the bride’s family who are able come on the dance floor,

Can all the groom’s family who are able come on the dance floor,

Then the DJ says the photographers are leaving after three dances and to capture the memories forever “dance like you have never danced before”.

WHAT PACKAGES DO YOU OFFER? AND WHAT IS INCLUDED?

We offer a range of photography and videography packages. We have all the packages available on our prices page on the website. There is also a video on the page discussing the package options.

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM US BEFORE THE WEDDING?

We provide a pre-wedding questionnaire for you to fill out, on this you will find suggested group shots and a list of shots you may want throughout the day. With this you can note any planned timings for these you may have arranged. Help with this is always available.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

Some people notice that each wedding they look through of ours can be different, and yes, we agree, we don’t tell you what you are getting, we work with you to get what you want. Due to many years of experience and training, we give you any style you want. Feel free to send us pictures you like, and this will determine your photography style.

CAN I GIVE YOU A LIST OF EXTRA SHOTS?

Yes, if you have run out of space on our pre-wedding questionnaire feel free to make an extra list, family shots are such an important part of your day.

HOW LONG WILL THE GROUP SHOTS TAKE?

Good question! Generally, we can complete a list of planned group shots within 15 to 30 minutes depending on how many you have. As a business, we are recognised and respected for getting through group shots quickly and professionally. This allows you to spend more time with your guests.

DO YOU NEED FEEDING ON THE WEDDING DAY?

Thank you for the offer but wedding food is expensive, and we choose to have a lighter meal, so we stay nimble to finish the night off.

WILL OTHER PEOPLE BE ABLE TO TAKE PICTURES DURING THE DAY?

Yes, it’s a social event and everyone has access to a camera these days. We only ask for guests to politely not to get in the way of formal shots. And we suggest no pictures during the ceremony as it’s not always great to see mobiles and tablets out while walking down the aisle.

Some wedding couples may ask for an unplugged wedding, so no pictures are put on social media until you both have made the first upload.

WHAT IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT ON THE DAY?

Very important question! We are a family of photographers, some of us work full time and some of us work part-time, however, our lives are planned around the weddings we have booked in. Over the years we have dealt with family loss, sickness, and everything else life can throw in your way, but we always turned up to your wedding day. We have never cancelled a wedding.

DO YOU EDIT THE PICTURES?

Yes, we digitally retouch every image before sending them over to you.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR OUR PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY TO BE EDITED?
