HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL SHOOT?
For weddings you will receive a minimum of two professional photographers. For studio and lifestyle work you will receive one photographer (two on some occasions). If you require a team of professional photographers this can be arranged via our shoot design service.
HOW DO I PAY?
Payment can be made by the following methods:
BANK TRANSFER. CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS. CASH. CHEQUE. DIRECT DEBIT.
Cards Accepted: Visa. Mastercard. Maestro. Solo. Delta. Visa Electron. PLEASE NOTE card payment incurs a 2.75% transaction fee.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
Your photographs will appear in your unique password protected online gallery for preview. You will then have this opportunity to request any additional changes. Following this you will receive all images on disk in High, Medium and Low Quality formats. On special request we can provide images on USB sticks at an additional cost. Images are then stored on our industrial commercial server.
WHY IS PHOTOGRAPHY EXPENSIVE?
At CARRO, we invest in the highest quality equipment. For those of you who understand the technology, we shoot on Canon 1DX systems and have Elinchrom Pro HD 500 studio heads. Whilst equipment does not guarantee good images, it does ensure reliability and creative scope. All of our staff undergo weekly personal development and attend annual training events. All images are fully edited in-house rather than outsourcing to maintain full creative control (see questions to ask my photographer). We have £2 million public liability insurance cover and are registered with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
Situated in a convenient location between the A19 and A1 in Wynyard Co. Durham we are not far from Newcastle, Gosforth, Ponteland, Northumberland, Middleborough, Sunderland, York, Richmond, Harrogate, Darlington or Leeds! We travel up to 50 miles (100 miles return) free of charge with 45p per mile thereafter.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOGRAPHS?
Wedding images will be fully edited and provided on disc up to 6 weeks after your wedding date. For studio and lifestyle shoots, your images will be uploaded to an online gallery for selection or alternatively you will be invited to preview your images in our luxurious cinema room. Commercial and magazine commissions will be discussed on an individual basis.
CAN I ASK FOR CHANGES TO MY IMAGES?
You will be given an opportunity when the images are uploaded to your personalised online gallery to request changes before the images are finalised. As a company we reserve the right NOT to make any changes that we feel would de-value or discredit our professionalism.
WILL I RECEIVE COPYRIGHT AND WILL YOU DISPLAY MY IMAGES?
Any images displayed are with the consent of the individuals. This consent is implied so please inform us if you DO NOT want your images to be used for marketing or on social media. You will receive full copyright with a copyright notice entitling you to reproduce or print your images at home or at any establishment. We do retain the right for the images not to be adapted or changed in their nature. If images are to appear in the press or used in a commercial format (unless otherwise agreed) we must be notified in advance and retain the right to refuse this request.
